Born from our original Just Diggin Life design, 2020 inspired us to KEEP ON in all of our favorite areas of life. 

This past year of pandemic activity has unleashed a calling to get back to what we do as humans…keep on keeping on. 

Working in various occupations throughout his life, JDL founder, Tom, ultimately discovered working for himself allowed for the most productivity with a solid balance of life.  

Some words from Tom...

I started my current small business, T-Bone’s Nursery, a retail garden center, just as the ol' “Great Recession” reared its ugly head in 2008. What was I thinking? 

I was thinking that we as humans, and this great country of the United States of America, always seem to rebound. I expected that no one would be buying discretionary living plants for their yards during this time, and for years thereafter... I was correct. But I believed they one day would, and I would be ready. 

I didn’t eat for a few years (a bit exaggerated). I lived. And now here I am. A thriving small business with fantastic customers that come from surrounding counties to shop with me and my amazingly attentive team.

I have always lived by a sort of motto of “just digging life” and decided I would like to share it with the world, even MORE than I would like to share my recipes as I am a complete “foodie” – my lady says I’m just a meat man with a good rub, but I keep on cooking on. Which brings me to my point… We all need to keep keeping on doing what we do! My motto is fitting for all things LIFE!

I hope these make some folks happy to purchase and wear after the past couple of years we’ve had. We need to all get on with life, because it is short! 

We are always chasing sunsets.. after a long day of work, we love to hop on the boat with the dogs and cruise.. this really allows for us to decompress and relax. You will see a lot of sunset photos if you follow us @JustDigginLife. Sorry not sorry!
